How do I know that my application has been submitted?
When you are in a university job ad, you have the option to either apply using the 'Apply Now' link and/or the 'More Information' link. This will take you through to the university's own job site. From this point onward you will be applying directly to the university and not through UniJobs.
How do I save and print jobs I'm interested in?
When you search for jobs and go into each university job ad, down the bottom there is a link to save your job as well as print your job. Click on either the 'Save' button or the 'Print' button. Your job will then print if you clicked on 'Print' or save if you clicked on 'Save Job'. When you are logged in there is a section for 'My Saved Jobs' where all the jobs you have saved will be stored.
How do I sign up for a weekly email of university jobs I'm interested in?
When you are asked to sign up you can tick a box at the bottom of the page that reads 'Sign me up to Weekly Emails,' clicking on this button will register you to receive weekly emails. Alternatively, once you have logged in you can go to 'My Subscription' and select the university jobs you wish to be notified about. Then click on 'Update my Subscription'. You will then receive a weekly email with the jobs that you have chosen. You can update your details at anytime.
How do I sign up to UniJobs?
You will need to go to the 'User Account' section on Unijobs.com.au. You will need to create a username and login. You will then be sent an email confirming these details. After you have confirmed your subscription, you will then be able to search for jobs using the search bar at the top of the page as well as the 'Advanced Search' tab.
Is there any cost to search for university jobs?
No, we do not charge jobseekers to sign up and search for jobs.
What sort of jobs does UniJobs advertise?
UniJobs advertises academic jobs as well as general jobs in higher education institutions.

How do I modify my job postings?

For unlimited advertisers you can modify your job postings at any time. Changes will take effect immediately. Login to your account and modify your job postings through the Advertisers page. For single job advertisers you will need to contact us on +61 3 9596 0008 or info@unijobs.com.au and we will make the changes for you immediately.

Is there a fee to cross-post jobs on UniJobs multiple job sites/job portals?

No, there is currently no additional fee for this value-added service. Your university job ad will also be posted on www.worldhigheredjobs.com and www.WorldUniversityJobs.com.

No, Uni Jobs does not offer any commission or discount to advertising agencies
What is the procedure to post a university job?

First of all, you will need to go to the UniJobs Advertisers page on UniJobs.com.au. There are three ways to advertise on UniJobs. You can either advertise a single job, have unlimited faculty advertising or unlimited university advertising. Below are the instructions;

  • Single university job ads - You will can either enter in your details on the single jobs page or email us your university job ad. You can email us at info@unijobs.com.au either attaching the university job ad in a word document or requesting the job ad to be copied across from another source ie your website. When using the single jobs page you will enter the job ad information and upload your university job as well as a banner if you wish.

    You also have the option to make your job a priority listing or featured job ad, just tick the appropriate box. Then submit your job and you can either pay the single job ad fee by entering your credit card details immediately or by EFT or cheque within 7 days. The job ad is then put up on UniJobs.com.au within the hour and we send you a confirmation email. To make any changes you can contact our office on +61 3 9596 0008 or by email info@unijobs.com.au and we will make the changes immediately. There will be no cost for this.
  • Faculty Unlimited Advertising - This is ideal for university faculties that have more than 2 university job ads per month. The job ads are available to one faculty only. You will need to contact UniJobs directly on +61 3 9596 0008 to discuss your needs and set up an account. There is an unlimited package fee that is paid upfront and once this occurs we can begin posting your university job ads. We will create a username and login and you will be able to login to your account at anytime to make any modifications. There is no administration work involved, as when you post jobs on your website, we will have it set up so that those jobs are automatically put up on UniJobs.
  • Unlimited Advertising - This is ideal for universities faculties that have more than 5 university job ads per month. This means that every job at the university can be posted. You will need to contact UniJobs directly on +61 3 9596 0008 to discuss your needs and set up an account. There is an unlimited package fee that is paid upfront and once this occurs we can begin posting your university job ads to UniJobs.com.au. We will create a username and login and you will be able to login to your account at anytime to make any modifications. There is no administration work involved, as when you post jobs on your website, we will have it set up so that those jobs are automatically put up on UniJobs.
Will the job seekers' applications be sent to us directly or through UniJobs?

Jobseekers apply directly to you. When you load a university job ad you can choose how applicants apply to your job using the links "More Information" or "Apply now" on each job ad. The job seeker will then click through to that link, whether it is your university's website job page, an email or your own job advertisement.
